Sonza Bests Landsman in Second Debate

CINCINNATI, OH – After tonight’s debate between Greg Landsman and Orlando Sonza, AFP Action is highlighting four key takeaways:

  • Rep. Landsman has failed to secure the southern border and Ohio, flip-flopping on whether the Biden-Harris administration has succeeded in border security. Orlando Sonza will fight for increased technology, boots on the ground, and infrastructure.
  • A vote for Greg Landsman is a vote to keep veterans in a broken VA system.
  • In the debate, Landsman failed to own the economic failures of the Biden-Harris administration while he has voted with the president nearly 100% of the time, and he must be held accountable.
  • Orlando Sonza will be a man of action and work on day one to get Ohio and our country’s economy back on track. Cincinnatians want to turn the page for OH-01 and usher in a new era of economic growth.

Senior Advisor Donovan O’Neil released the following statement:

“Tonight, Orlando Sonza shared a vision for a stronger Ohio, not more of the economic uncertainty ushered in by the broken policies of Greg Landsman.

“It’s time to turn the page on Greg Landsman for OH-01, and Orlando Sonza is the leader Ohioans deserve. An Army veteran, Sonza has the experience needed to secure the border and reignite the Ohio economy.”

Greg Landsman = the Biden-Harris Agenda

CINCINNATI, OH – While Greg Landsman claims he fairly represents a “very moderate, pragmatic, middle-of-the-road district,” the truth is that he’s been a rubber-stamp for the radical Biden-Harris agenda.

In the debate, Landsman failed to own the economic failures of the Biden-Harris administration, and voters need to hold him accountable for skyrocketing cost-of-living, energy prices, and failing border security.

AFP Action Senior Advisor Donovan O’Neil released the following statement:

“Ohioans won’t be fooled by Landsman’s performance during the debate. He’s voted in lockstep with the Biden-Harris administration, and he must be held accountable. Rather than standing up for Buckeye values in Congress, Landsman has caused the cost-of-living in Ohio to skyrocket, and it’s time to turn the page on new leadership.

“Orlando Sonza is an Army veteran and former assistant Hamilton County prosecutor with the vision to combat Ohio’s cost-of-living crisis and get the American economy and border security back on track.”

Sheehy Bests Tester in Second Debate

MISSOULA, MT – After the debate between Jon Tester and Tim Sheehy, AFP Action is highlighting five key takeaways:

  • Senator Tester has failed to secure the southern border and Montana. Tim Sheehy will fight for increased technology, boots on the ground and infrastructure.
  • Tester backed the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), which did not lower inflation. Instead, the IRA has resulted in U.S. gas prices increasing by nearly 62%, natural gas prices spiking by more than 40 percent, and included a $250-billion-dollar Department of Energy Loan Guarantee Program to fund liberal pet projects.
  • A vote for Senator Tester is a vote to keep veterans in a broken VA system.
  • In the debate, Tester desperately tried to distance himself from the economic failures of the Biden-Harris administration, but he has voted with the president nearly 100% of the time.
  • Tim Sheehy will be a man of action and work on day one to get Montana and our country’s economy back on track. Montanans want to turn the page on Tester’s nearly 20 years in Washington, DC.

Senior Advisor Jesse Ramos released the following statement:

“Tonight, Tim Sheehy shared a vision for a stronger Montana, not more of the economic uncertainty ushered in by the policies of Jon Tester. For nearly 20 years, Jon Tester has said one thing in Montana and voted another way in Washington, DC. Meanwhile, Sheehy has spent his career as a Navy SEAL serving our country.

“It’s time to turn the page on career-politician Jon Tester and Tim Sheehy is the leader Montanans deserve. A businessman who has created jobs right here in Montana, Sheehy has the experience to reignite the economy.”

Tester Has Failed to Secure Montana and the Southern Border

MISSOULA, MT – While Jon Tester attempts to defend the Biden-Harris administration’s failure to secure the southern border, AFP Action is highlighting the endangered senator’s border security stance (or lack thereof):

  • Jon Tester was the deciding vote to kill an amendment that would have provided funding for constructing a border fence.
  • Jon Tester was the deciding vote to kill an amendment that would have provided $500 million for walls and fences along the southwest border.
  • Jon Tester has continuously questioned the need for a border wall, going on the record to say he “is not in favor…of building a fence or wall.” In 2019, he again criticized a physical wall at the southern border.

AFP Action Senior Advisor Jesse Ramos released the following statement:

“Amid the Biden-Harris border crisis, every town and city has become a border town. Fentanyl and dangerous narcotics are pouring in through the southern border and Jon Tester and the Biden-Harris administration have done little to secure the border.

“It’s time for action and not more of the same rhetoric pushed by Senator Tester. When elected, Tim Sheehy will fight to secure the border by increasing troops on the ground, investing in technology and boots on the ground at the southern border. Tester has has nearly 20 years in Washington, DC and our state has become less safe.”
