Lansing, MI — Ahead of tonight’s Michigan Democrat Senate debate, Americans for Prosperity Action (AFP Action) Senior Advisor for Michigan Tim Golding released the following statement:

“Tonight’s debate will offer Michigan voters a clear window into how Democrats think about the problems facing this state: more Washington, more government control, and more of the same policies that drove up costs in the first place. Haley Stevens and Abdul El-Sayed may disagree on tactics, but they share the same fundamental belief — that the answer to Washington’s failures is more Washington.

“Michigan families know better: the cost of living didn’t spike because government wasn’t involved enough in their lives. It spiked because of runaway spending, burdensome regulations, and energy policies that made everything more expensive. 

“Mike Rogers is running on a different vision for Michigan, one built on lower taxes, less spending, unleashing American energy, and cutting regulations that strangle small businesses. That’s how you put money back in people’s pockets and create the kind of economic opportunity this state has been waiting for.”

FORT LUPTON, CO — On Saturday, AFP Action and LIBRE Action joined Congressman Gabe Evans for a canvassing event connecting directly with voters in Fort Lupton to discuss the issues that matter most to Colorado families. 

Over the weekend, Coloradans in the 8th congressional district engaged directly with Congressman Evans about the policies impacting their families, businesses, and future prosperity. Evans met constituents at their doorsteps, listening to their concerns and discussing solutions to strengthen economic opportunity, lower costs, and tackle the cost-of-living crisis.

COLUMBUS, OH – Last weekend, Americans for Prosperity Action (AFP Action), The LIBRE Initiative Action (LIBRE Action), and Concerned Veterans for America Action (CVA Action) held a Day of Action to build momentum behind the campaign of U.S. Senate candidate Senator Jon Husted, part of a sweeping, coordinated grassroots push across key battleground states in the 2026 election cycle.

The Day of Action was a testament to the extraordinary grassroots energy behind Jon Husted’s campaign, with volunteers turning out in force to knock on thousands of doors across Ohio. 

Nationwide, AFP Action’s grassroots volunteers surpassed one million doors knocked in key Senate races this cycle, a major milestone that reflects the scale of AFP Action’s on-the-ground efforts to engage voters and elevate critical issues ahead of November.

PORTAGE, MI — This past weekend, Americans for Prosperity Action (AFP Action) held a Day of Action in Michigan to build momentum behind the Senate campaign of Mike Rogers, part of a sweeping, coordinated grassroots push across key battleground states in the 2026 election cycle.

The Day of Action marked a significant milestone for AFP Action, whose grassroots volunteers surpassed the one millionth door knocked in key Senate races this cycle, including over 300,000 doors knocked in Michigan alone on behalf of Rogers’ campaign. The landmark threshold represents a massive scale of early, in-person outreach during one of the most critical windows of the 2026 election.
