AFP Action Targets Key Senators Failures in New Ads for Out-of-Touch Policies Resulting in “Unbearable Costs”

Arlington, VA – AFP Action is rolling out a new series of testimonial ads calling out the policy failures and reckless spending of Senators Jon Tester (MT), Sherrod Brown (OH), and Bob Casey (PA), leading to the worst cost of living crisis in a generation. The ads are part of an existing $3.5 million buy across digital and connected TV platforms and feature the voices of real voters bearing the brunt of the harmful policies driving inflation.

AFP Action Director Nathan Nascimento gave the following statement:

“Americans are facing record-high prices at the grocery store and gas pumps, a direct result of the failed Biden-Harris policies supported by Senators Jon Tester, Sherrod Brown, and Bob Casey.

“Each of these career politicians are responsible for record high inflation that is harming everyday Americans. They are out of touch and disconnected from how people are suffering from their failures. Voters deserve better and are ready for the commonsense solutions and fresh leadership of Tim Sheehy, Bernie Moreno, and Dave McCormick to get the job done.”

The ads in Pennsylvania emphasize the desire for leaders who understand the fundamentals of a successful economy and reject the Inflation Reduction Act as ineffective. These voters are concerned that their Senators have been in Washington, D.C., for too long and are now out of touch with their constituents’ needs.

Similarly, the ads in Montana and Ohio express concerns about the current cost of living crisis and the dangers of continuing the downward spiral of a failed economy and what that could mean for future generations. As Jill H., a voter from Missoula, Montana, said, “I’m worried about where our country is going and I’m worried that my kids are going to grow up in a world that is vastly different from the one I grew up in.”

These concerns aren’t just limited to the voters featured in the ads. AFP Action has been hearing the same worries expressed by millions of voters across the country at the doors and on the phone. To date, this cycle, AFP Action has reached out to more than 5.6 million voters — in more than 140 federal and state races across the country.

AFP Action Backs Vikram Mansharamani for Congress

Manchester, New Hampshire—Today Americans for Prosperity Action (AFP Action) endorsed New Hampshire entrepreneur and economist Vikram Mansharamani in his bid to represent New Hampshire’s second congressional district.

Mansharamani earned AFP Action’s endorsement for his commitment to curbing Washington’s wasteful and inflationary spending as well as his emphasis on securing the southern border.

AFP Action Senior Advisor Greg Moore issued the following statement after the announcement:

“Granite Staters need relief from Bidenomics, with its massive spending and inflation that is crushing our citizens.  Vikram Mansharamani is the perfect antidote to a broken Washington.  He supports making Congress work for us and not the other way around.”

“AFP Action will be working tirelessly to ensure that he is successful and gets the chance to bring New Hampshire values to Washington.  It’s high time we had someone in Congress who actually lives up to our motto of Live Free or Die.”

AFP Action Minnesota Announces Second Wave of Minnesota State Legislative Endorsements

AFPA-MN Senior Advisor, Jake Coleman, gave the following statement:

“It’s high time for a change in our state legislature, after years of the Democratic majority’s poor leadership and radical policy priorities that have hurt hardworking Minnesotans and saddled the state with a budget deficit.

“This year we have the unique opportunity to help restore sanity and responsibility in the House and Senate by engaging in key elections, supporting both principled incumbents and challengers who will fight for fiscal restraint, lower taxes, and education freedom.”

Endorsed candidates
