JACKSON, Miss. – Americans for Prosperity Action® released a statement congratulating Tate Reeves for his primary runoff victory Tuesday night against Bill Waller Jr. and urged Mississippians to support Reeves in the general election on November 5th. The group will continue its support of Reeves through ads and leveraging their grassroots network.
“Mississippians want a candidate that has successfully gone to bat for Mississippi families—and Tate Reeves has done just that as Lt. Governor,” said AFP Action Senior Advisor Trey Dellinger. “He’s protected families’ budgets and created an environment for job growth by cutting taxes and curbing spending. He opposes expanding a broken system, like Medicaid, that would burden taxpayers and jeopardize the care for those who need it most. And, he’s been on the front lines of increasing educational opportunities so every child can find an education that best fits their unique needs. If Mississippians want a Governor that knows how to get things done, the choice is clear.”
