Americans for Prosperity Action Congratulates U.S. Rep. Monica De La Cruz on Reelection to TX-15

McAllen, TX — Today, Americans for Prosperity Action-Texas (AFP Action-TX) congratulated U.S. Representative Monica De La Cruz on her reelection to Texas’ 15th Congressional District following the organization’s months-long canvassing effort that mobilized thousands of voters.

AFP Action-TX is excited for their continued partnership with Rep. De La Cruz. In her first term, De La Cruz quickly became a champion for border security, by introducing legislation to prevent fentanyl trafficking. As a longtime small business owner who joined Congress halfway through the Biden-Harris administration, she saw firsthand the disastrous impact of their top-down economic planning and got to work fighting for policies to improve outcomes for hardworking South Texans, especially in the agricultural and energy sectors.

In September, AFPA’s sister organization Americans for Prosperity (AFP) awarded Rep. De La Cruz with a “Pioneers for Prosperity” award in recognition of her dedication to expanding freedom, opportunity, and prosperity in the Lone Star State and across the nation.

AFP Action-TX Senior Advisor and AFP-TX State Director Genevieve Collins gave the following statement:

“Monica De La Cruz had an outstanding first term in office, and we’re grateful for her continued service in Congress. South Texas can continue to count on her to help keep their communities safe, prosperous, and free.

“AFP Action has proven once again that our world-class grassroots capabilities can make the difference on the ground in competitive races to help elect principled leaders to serve in Washington.”

AFP Action Congratulates Bernie Moreno on Election Night Victory

COLUMBUS, OH – Tonight, AFP Action congratulates Bernie Moreno on a resounding victory and becoming Ohio’s newest member of the U.S. Senate.

Throughout the election cycle, AFP Action contacted over two million voters in Ohio. This effort began back in March, and AFP Action’s grassroots army of staff and volunteers have been canvassing the state to educate voters on the contrast between career politician Sherrod Brown and businessman Bernie Moreno.

Upon the race call, AFP Action Senior Advisor and AFP-OH State Director Donovan O’Neil released the following statement:

“Bernie Moreno’s message of Buckeye values over Washington bureaucrats resonated with voters and AFP Action congratulates the Moreno campaign on a hard-fought victory.

“For too long, Sherrod Brown has sided with the most progressive in his party over Ohio, but tonight, the Buckeye state rejected the career politician and voted instead to turn the page on nearly two decades of policies that have caused a cost-of-living crisis in the state.

“AFP stands ready to work alongside Bernie Moreno in the Senate to bring down inflation and cost of living and reignite the American dream right here in Ohio.”
