McAllen, TX — Today, Americans for Prosperity Action-Texas (AFP Action-TX) congratulated U.S. Representative Monica De La Cruz on her reelection to Texas’ 15th Congressional District following the organization’s months-long canvassing effort that mobilized thousands of voters.
AFP Action-TX is excited for their continued partnership with Rep. De La Cruz. In her first term, De La Cruz quickly became a champion for border security, by introducing legislation to prevent fentanyl trafficking. As a longtime small business owner who joined Congress halfway through the Biden-Harris administration, she saw firsthand the disastrous impact of their top-down economic planning and got to work fighting for policies to improve outcomes for hardworking South Texans, especially in the agricultural and energy sectors.
In September, AFPA’s sister organization Americans for Prosperity (AFP) awarded Rep. De La Cruz with a “Pioneers for Prosperity” award in recognition of her dedication to expanding freedom, opportunity, and prosperity in the Lone Star State and across the nation.
