AFP Action Releases New Ads in Ohio Focused on Cost of Living Concerns, Jon Husted’s Solutions

COLUMBUS, OH – As reported in The Daily Signal, Americans for Prosperity Action (AFP Action) released two new ads, “Jon Husted | Real Results for Ohio” and “Ohio Can’t Afford Sherrod Brown,” drawing a clear contrast between Jon Husted’s record of delivering results for Ohio families and Sherrod Brown’s support for policies that have contributed to rising costs. 

The ads highlight Husted’s focus on advancing solutions that lower costs and expand opportunity, while underscoring concerns with Brown’s record on policies impacting inflation, energy prices, and the overall cost of living. 

Thanks to AFP Action’s permanent, on-the-ground infrastructure in Ohio, the organization has been knocking voter doors for months to engage voters on how policies impacting taxes, energy, and government spending are affecting their daily lives.

The ad campaign comes on the heels of a new memo from AFP Action Senior Advisor Emily Seidel and Executive Director Nathan Nascimento urging Republicans to focus on cost-of-living issues or risk losing the Senate. In the letter, they write that “…every campaign event should answer one question, what are you doing to lower the cost of living for working families?”

AFP Action Endorses Ashley Hinson for U.S. Senate

DES MOINES, IA— Americans for Prosperity Action (AFP Action) today announced its endorsement of Ashley Hinson for U.S. Senate. A longtime policy champion for sister organization Americans for Prosperity, Hinson has fought for Iowans in the U.S. House of Representatives, securing policy wins on right-to-work issues and consistently advocating for the REINS Act.

This announcement is part of a major $3.25 million ad buy across six key U.S. Senate battlegrounds—New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Michigan, Iowa, and Montana—as part of a layered strategy to reach voters early with a message grounded in substance.
