AFP Action’s Latest $1.25M Ad Buy Highlights Real Wisconsin Voters Betrayed by Tammy Baldwin

Madison, WI – This week, Americans for Prosperity Action (AFP Action) highlights real Wisconsin voters suffering the severe consequences of Tammy Baldwin’s relentless support of radical spending policies in a $1.25 million ad buy airing across the Badger State.

“Tammy Baldwin spent a trillion dollars on the Inflation Reduction Act. It did not help us.” – Jackie B., Tigerton, WI

“When you need to fix the economy, you take it to a businessman. He understands what it takes to be successful” – Bobbie S., Sheboygan, WI

The Wisconsin ads feature testimonials of real Wisconsin voters who feel betrayed by Tammy Baldwin’s support of radical spending policies directly responsible for high inflation and rising costs. These voters are calling for real change and share why they believe Eric Hovde is the problem-solving leader who can help reignite Wisconsin’s economy.

AFP Action Senior Advisor Megan Novak made the following statement:

“Career politician Tammy Baldwin continues to fail Wisconsinites. Her relentless support of reckless government spending and lockstep voting record with the Biden-Harris administration is directly responsible for the economic uncertainty, high inflation, and rising costs burdening Wisconsinites today.”

“Eric Hovde is the problem-solving leader that Wisconsinites need. As a businessman, he understands the issues and promises to cut spending, remove costly regulations, and unleash American energy independence. Hovde is committed to representing Wisconsin and determined to work hard to get our economy back on a path to prosperity.”

The ads are part of a major $5.75 million ad buy targeting key Senate races in Montana, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

AFP Action Calls Out Democrat Senators to Own Their Failures, Launches Major $5.75M Ad Buy Across Key Senate States

Ads Underscore Urgent Need to Turn the Page from Democrats Reckless Spending, Historic Inflation

Arlington, VA — As reported in Fox News, Americans for Prosperity Action (AFP Action) is calling out lawmakers for their failures, launching a major new series of ads targeting key Senate races in Montana, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. This $5.75 million campaign focuses on the severe consequences that families are facing amid sustained historic inflation and the reckless spending policies that fueled it.

AFP Action Director Nathan Nascimento issued the following statement on the buy:

“Voters are tired of Washington doubling down on failed policy and then handing them the bill. But that’s what every incumbent Senator has done during their time in office—some of them for decades. The pain is very real for Americans still deciding who to vote for in November, but when you look at their record, it’s very clear that Senators Brown, Baldwin, Casey, Rosen, and Tester can’t be trusted to vote the right way when it comes to reducing inflationary spending or securing the border.

“Any one of these Senators were the deciding vote to push the Biden-Harris administration’s massive influx of spending forward, forcing inflation into overdrive – and every single one put their Party ahead of their constituents. Americans across the country are paying the price. The last thing our country can afford is to send these Senators back to Washington for more of the same failed policies.”

Senators Jon Tester (MT), Jacky Rosen (NV), Sherrod Brown (OH), Bob Casey (PA), and Tammy Baldwin (WI) voted for major inflationary spending and regulatory policy of the Biden-Harris administration. They fully own the pain their constituents are experiencing in the form of more expensive gas, groceries, and an overall higher cost of living and they need to be held accountable it.

At the same time, the ads contrast these failed policies with the promise of a brighter future under leaders like Bernie Moreno in Ohio, Sam Brown in Nevada, and Dave McCormick in Pennsylvania, with testimonials of real voters supporting Tim Sheehy in Montana and Eric Hovde in Wisconsin.

AFP Action Backs former Congressman Mike Rogers for U.S. Senate

Lansing, Michigan—Today Americans for Prosperity Action (AFP Action) threw its support behind former Congressman Mike Rogers in his bid to serve as Michigan’s next Senator.

AFP Action endorsed Rogers for his commitment to lowering taxes, embracing energy abundance, and eliminating harmful regulations. If elected, Michiganders can look to him to oppose inflationary government spending and vote to secure the border that has been neglected by the current administration.

This endorsement rounds out AFP Action’s Senate “Firewall Strategy,” to prevent one-party progressive rule in Washington.

After the announcement, AFP Action Senior Advisor Tim Golding issued the following statement:

“Michiganders are energized and motivated to send a policy champion like former Michigan Congressman Mike Rogers to the U.S. Senate. For years, Michigan’s Senators have prioritized special interests over the concerns of their constituents.

“By backing Mike Rogers, AFP Action is backing transformative policy that can renew America’s economy and reignite the American Dream: from keeping taxes low, to embracing an all-of-the-above approach to domestic energy production, to securing the border and opposing inflationary government spending, Michiganders can rely on Rogers to voice their concerns and stand up for their families. Now more than ever, this is a chance to send a proven leader back to Washington and say “no” to the inflationary spending and overburdensome regulations backed by Elissa Slotkin and her entrenched allies.”

In addition to its 24/7 grassroots operation, AFP Action will support Rogers’ bid with its best-in-class data and digital capabilities, including an initial $1.7 million ad buy in the Great Lake State for the month of August.

AFP Action Congratulates Tim Sheehy on Primary Victory

MISSOULA, MT – Tonight, Montanans decided Tim Sheehy will be the Republican nominee to face off against career politician Jon Tester.

After the race was called, AFP Action Senior Advisor Jesse Ramos released the following statement:

“Montana agreed loud and clear tonight – Tim Sheehy is the best candidate to take on Jon Tester in the general election. Montanans are sick and tired of Tester’s empty promises and are ready to turn the page on decades of inaction.

“Tim Sheehy is a Montana patriot whose unwavering dedication to public service and commitment to Montana will make him the newest member of the US Senate come November. AFP Action congratulates Tim Sheehy on a resounding primary victory and intends to put the full weight of our grassroots army behind his candidacy.”

AFP Action Drops New Seven-Figure Ad Buy in Key Senate Races

Arlington, VA—Today Americans for Prosperity Action (AFP Action) released a new set of ads supporting endorsed U.S. Senate candidates in Nevada and Pennsylvania.

The $1.6 million ad buy in Nevada and Pennsylvania highlights candidates both Sam Brown and Dave McCormick as lawmakers with a history of service and the grit to vote for meaningful border security, energy abundance, and an end to Washington’s inflationary spending.

AFP Action Senior Advisor for Nevada Ronnie Najarro gave the following statement:

“For too long, Jacky Rosen has chosen to side with Chuck Schumer and her party bosses over Nevada’s best interests.

“A decorated veteran and life-long public servant, Sam Brown will be the U.S. Senator that the Battle Born State deserves. Brown has expressed his dedication to combat skyrocketing inflation and cost-of-living increases and is the best candidate to defeat Jacky Rosen this November.”

A second set of ads in Pennsylvania targets incumbent Senator Bob Casey, who over a 17-year career in Washington has voted to kill Pennsylvania jobs, expanded the national debt, and allowed fentanyl to pour in through the southern border. The ad’s closing line suggests that Casey deserves a pink slip, not another term.

AFP Action Senior Advisor for Pennsylvania Ashley Klingensmith gave the following statement:

“Pennsylvanians need a new leader in the Senate. Dave McCormick understands where inflation comes from: runaway government spending. He’s ready to be part of the solution by putting an end to Washington waste.

“Senator Casey is hoping that his terrible record of representing Pennsylvania voters will go unnoticed, but the fact is Pennsylvanians are reminded every day at the grocery store and at the gas pump. The Keystone State is full of economic potential, but the American Dream is out of reach for so many because Casey continues to vote against the interests of Pennsylvanians. Dave McCormick experience positions him to better advance economic opportunity for Pennsylvanians from Pitt to Philly and everywhere in between.”

NEW ADS: AFP Action Ads Urge Montanans to Turn the Page on Tester, Support Sheehy for U.S. Senate

MISSOULA, MT – Today, AFP Action released a new seven-figure spend ad campaign highlighting Jon Tester’s lockstep voting record with Joe Biden and his failure to stand up for Montanans. In contrast, additional AFP Action ads highlight Tim Sheehy as a political outsider who will fight to secure the southern border, battle inflation, and unleash American energy abundance.

Jon Tester has spent 18 years in the Senate – and now votes with President Biden 91% of the time, proving time and again he’ll choose his party bosses over Montanans. Among other failures for the state, Tester was the deciding vote to cancel the Keystone XL Pipeline in the Senate, costing the state countless well-paying jobs.

The ads urge voters to move past Senator Tester, saying, “We must do better. Turn the page on Senator Jon Tester.”

Montanans are facing the greatest economic uncertainty since the great recession of 2008. Rising inflation has led to rising living costs, making life more and more unaffordable. Tester has spent nearly 20 years in the Senate and hasn’t delivered for Big Sky Country. In contrast, Sheehy is a decorated veteran and creator of thousands of jobs in the state. Montana deserves a senator as independent as the state – and a political outsider like Tim Sheehy is the best candidate to defeat Jon Tester this November.

AFP Action Senior Advisor Jesse Ramos released the following statement:

“These ads signify AFP Action’s dedication to defeating Senator Tester this November – Tester has been a rubber stamp for his party bosses for too long. It’s time for Montana to turn the page on Tester like he’s turned his back on us time and again. Montana can’t afford six more years of the disastrous Tester-Biden agenda.

“That’s why AFP Action is backing conservative outsider Tim Sheehy for U.S. Senate. Sheehy will fight for Montana just like he fought or our country. His commitment to securing the border, combatting inflation, reining in spending, and tapping America’s limitless energy potential represents a new chapter for Montana and stands in stark contrast to the far-left progressive agenda that Tester has fully embraced.”
