AFP Action-Florida Congratulates 42 Endorsed Candidates on Election Night Victories

AFP Action-FL Reaches More than 550,585 Voters in Support of Endorsed Candidates

Tallahassee, FL—Americans for Prosperity Action-Florida (AFPA-FL) congratulates a slate of endorsed candidates for winning their general election including Congresswoman Maria Salazar to serve in the U.S. House of Representatives and 41 candidates to serve in the State Legislature with another race too close to call.

As a permanent grassroots operation throughout the state, AFPA-FL mobilized its base to make more than 550,585 overall points of voter outreach while also sending more than a million pieces of mail and running digital ads. This led to AFPA winning every race but one that it engaged in this cycle. By strategically engaging in critical state races, AFPA-FL has paved a pathway for its sister entity Americans for Prosperity to enact policies with these returning or newly elected leaders that keep Florida thriving.

AFP Action Senior Advisor and Americans for Prosperity Florida State Director, Skylar Zander, released the following statement:

“Our political work at AFP Action leads to policy reform through our sister entity AFP, thus establishing a more economically prosperous future for Florida, safeguarding education freedom, expanding the personal option in health care, cutting red tape and regulations among other pro-growth reforms.

“We are thrilled to see many of our AFP Action backed candidates win, especially in areas with competitive races knowing our grassroots base was able to close the gap for principled leaders. We applaud their efforts this cycle and our sister organization, AFP, looks forward to working with them in the next legislative session.”

AFP Action Congratulates Ryan Zinke (MT-01) on Re-election

MISSOULA, MT – AFP Action congratulates Ryan Zinke on his re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives, representing MT-01.

Ryan Zinke is a trusted policy partner on economic issues benefiting Montana families and small businesses. He will fight to secure Montana and the southern border and defend against the cost-of-living crisis created by the Biden-Harris administration. As an advocate for responsible regulations, Zinke has supported legislation to enact a federal REINS Act and to eliminate onerous regulations for job creators.

Upon the race call, AFP Action Senior Advisor and AFP-Montana State Director Jesse Ramos released the following statement:

“AFP Action congratulates Rep. Ryan Zinke and his campaign on a resounding reelection. Throughout his time in public office, Zinke has been an advocate for responsible economic policy and bringing down the high inflation facing Montanans. AFP looks forward to continuing to work alongside Zinke next Congress.”

AFP Action Congratulates Tim Sheehy on Election Night Victory

MISSOULA, MT – Tonight, AFP Action congratulates Tim Sheehy on a resounding victory and becoming Montana’s newest member of the U.S. Senate. AFP Action endorsed Sheehy in November of 2023.

Throughout the election cycle, AFP Action made more than 1.8 million voter contacts – the most in chapter history – about the Senate race between Tim Sheehy and Jon Tester. This effort began back in November of 2023 and AFP Action’s grassroots army of staff and volunteers have been canvassing the state to educate voters on the contrast between career politician Jon Tester and businessman and veteran Tim Sheehy.

Upon the race call, AFP Action Senior Advisor and AFP-Montana State Director Jesse Ramos released the following statement:

“Tim Sheehy’s message of Montana values over Washington bureaucrats resonated with voters and AFP Action congratulates the Sheehy campaign on a hard-fought victory.

“For too long, Jon Tester has sided with the most progressive in his party over Montana but tonight, Montanans rejected the career politician and voted instead to turn the page on nearly two decades of policies that have caused a cost-of-living crisis in the state.

“AFP stands ready to work alongside Tim Sheehy in the Senate to bring down inflation and cost of living and reignite the American dream right here in Montana.”
