AFP Action KS Endorsed Candidate and Former Attorney General Derek Schmidt Secures Primary Victory
Topeka, KS—Tonight, Americans for Prosperity Action-Kansas (AFPA-KS) is celebrating Derek Schmidt being one step closer to representing Kansas values in Washington. AFPA-KS’ grassroots army has been advocating for Schmidt throughout the state and the organization says it’s thrilled with tonight’s outcome.
AFPA-KS has run digital and mail campaigns, as well as making thousands of voter contacts, to educate Kansans on why the former State Senator and Attorney General is the best candidate.
AFPA-KS Senior Advisor, Liz Patton, made the following statement:
“Kansas voters, once again, saw through the political attacks and made the right choice in supporting Derek Schmidt tonight. AFPA-KS is thrilled to congratulate Derek on this victory, but we’re ready to keep fighting until November. Kansas values need to be represented in Washington, and we know Derek is a trusted voice with a record of fighting problematic policies and winning as Attorney General.
