Ads Underscore Urgent Need to Turn the Page from Democrats Reckless Spending, Historic Inflation

Arlington, VA — As reported in Fox News, Americans for Prosperity Action (AFP Action) is calling out lawmakers for their failures, launching a major new series of ads targeting key Senate races in Montana, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. This $5.75 million campaign focuses on the severe consequences that families are facing amid sustained historic inflation and the reckless spending policies that fueled it.

AFP Action Director Nathan Nascimento issued the following statement on the buy:

“Voters are tired of Washington doubling down on failed policy and then handing them the bill. But that’s what every incumbent Senator has done during their time in office—some of them for decades. The pain is very real for Americans still deciding who to vote for in November, but when you look at their record, it’s very clear that Senators Brown, Baldwin, Casey, Rosen, and Tester can’t be trusted to vote the right way when it comes to reducing inflationary spending or securing the border. 

“Any one of these Senators were the deciding vote to push the Biden-Harris administration’s massive influx of spending forward, forcing inflation into overdrive – and every single one put their Party ahead of their constituents. Americans across the country are paying the price. The last thing our country can afford is to send these Senators back to Washington for more of the same failed policies.”

Senators Jon Tester (MT), Jacky Rosen (NV), Sherrod Brown (OH), Bob Casey (PA), and Tammy Baldwin (WI) voted for major inflationary spending and regulatory policy of the Biden-Harris administration. They fully own the pain their constituents are experiencing in the form of more expensive gas, groceries, and an overall higher cost of living and they need to be held accountable it.

At the same time, the ads contrast these failed policies with the promise of a brighter future under leaders like Bernie Moreno in Ohio, Sam Brown in Nevada, and Dave McCormick in Pennsylvania, with testimonials of real voters supporting Tim Sheehy in Montana and Eric Hovde in Wisconsin.
