Senator Dennis Hisey (SD-11)
During his first term in the Senate, Sen. Dennis Hisey has been a proponent of personalized health care, smart energy policy, the Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights (TABOR), red-tape reduction, and better education for Colorado’s students. He co-sponsored telehealth reform to increase access to health care. He has also been strong voice on smart energy policy that considers both environmental stewardship and the economic interests of the state and country. Sen. Hisey has been a strong opponent of SB21-260, a bill that violated Colorado’s Constitution by disregarding TABOR and Prop 117 to pass multiple unwanted fees, including a fee on gas He supports reducing regulatory barriers to work, so more Coloradans can achieve the American Dream. Regarding education, he defends empowering parents.
Senator Rob Woodward (SD-15)
Sen. Rob Woodward has worked to improve access to personalized health care, grow job opportunities, and improve education outcomes. He voted to keep government out of health care. Sen. Woodward studied finance, earned an MBA, and launched over 60 small businesses in Colorado and other states. His education and professional experience in tax and finance before serving in the Senate provides him unique insight on how legislation can either provide economic growth opportunities or cause harm to hard-working Colorado families. He voted for Right-to-Work legislation and to reform burdensome occupational licensing laws. He also supports legislation to improve education outcomes for Colorado students.
Tim Walsh (SD-20)
Candidate Tim Walsh has a passion for transformative education initiatives. He supports lowering taxes, reducing red tape in the workplace, and smart energy policy. His experience as an entrepreneur and business owner will allow him to be a leader that keeps spending in-check and grows job opportunities. He publicly and proudly supported an ESA-type education freedom program, lowering taxes, and TABOR. Walsh will establish broad coalitions to pass solutions that benefit every Coloradan and work with anyone to do good.
