Americans For Prosperity Action Endorses Brad Finstad For The U.S. House Of Representatives

ST. PAUL, MN – Americans for Prosperity Action Minnesota (AFP Action MN) announced today its endorsement of candidate Brad Finstad for Minnesota’s 1st Congressional District.

AFP Action will leverage a wide range of tactics, including the country’s largest grassroots outreach and mobilization, a full-time dedicated staff, and trained volunteers to educate and mobilize voters to support endorsed candidates.

“Brad Finstad will fight in Congress for Minnesota workers and families whose hard-earned paychecks and savings are shrinking from skyrocketing inflation and the out-of-control government spending that feeds it,” said AFP Action MN Senior Advisor Jake Coleman.

“Finstad will be a taxpayers’ champion by cutting job-destroying taxes and reducing massive and wasteful spending,” he said.

“Finstad knows the harm misguided and unnecessary government regulations can do to hardworking Americans—including farmers,” Coleman said. “He will apply that knowledge in Congress to review and eliminate those regulations to unshackle innovation and opportunities.”

During the 2020 election cycle, AFP Action supported candidates nationwide with more than 8.5 million telephone calls, 1.5 million door knocks, and more than 49 million pieces of mail. AFP Action has unmatched direct voter outreach capability supported by a world-class data operation.

Background

Having worked as a farmer, agriculture consultant, and director of the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development office in Minnesota, Brad Finstad understands the regulatory process and tech-related regulatory structures. In Congress, he will support the review of government regulations and work to prevent new regulations from being implemented unless they have clear value, advancing the public’s interest. Finstad will work to reduce the tax burden on job-creating businesses and make the tough decisions necessary to reduce wasteful, out-of-control spending.

AFP Action is a 527 political action committee focused on electing candidates who will drive policy change and facilitate the building of broad policy coalitions that remove barriers to opportunity and help people improve their lives. The organization has a strong, permanent grassroots presence, including highly motivated activists who volunteer during the election season by making telephone calls and knocking on doors in support of policy champions.
