Americans for Prosperity Action Florida Announces Endorsement of Jimmy Patronis for FL-01  

Pensacola, FL—Today, Americans for Prosperity Action Florida (AFP Action FL) announced its first endorsement of 2025 with its backing of Jimmy Patronis for U.S. Congressional District 01.  

Leading up to the January 28th primary for this special election, AFP Action FL will utilize its vast grassroots base, digital advertising, and mail to educate and mobilize voters in support of Patronis just as the organization did for 54 successful candidates in the previous cycle.

Atlanta, Georgia—Today, Americans for Prosperity Action (AFP Action) congratulated endorsed candidates on their successful runs to serve in the Georgia state legislature. 

Incumbent Greg Dolezal (SD-27), Kay Kirkpatrick (SD-32), Ed Setzler (SD-37), and John Albers (SD-56) won reelection to the state senate.  

Incumbent State Representatives including Speaker Pro Tempore Jan Jones, Mike Cameron (HD-01), Jason Ridley (HD-06), Joseph Gullett (HD-19), Todd Jones (HD-25), Ginny Ehrhart (HD-36), John Carson (HD-46), Scott Hilton (HD-48), Chuck Martin (HD-49), Deborah Silcox (HD-53), Josh Bonner (HD-72), Matt Reeves (HD-99), Soo Hong (HD-103), Rey Martinez (HD-111), and David Jenkins (HD-136) all won reelection to the Georgia House of Representatives. 

AFP Action also endorsed non-incumbent Sandy Donatucci for the 105th house district, in a race that is currently too close to call.

Jon Albert (HD-48) 

As a former Marine and Mayor, Jon Albert has the leadership skills needed to serve Florida’s House District 48. Jon knows how important it is to cut taxes to provide relief to his constituents which he did as Mayor. He’ll work on cutting taxes and keeping our budget under control in the Florida House, which is a stark difference from the out-of-control spending in Washington D.C.

State Rep. Doug Bankson (HD-39) 

Rep. Bankson in just one term has shown what it takes to work with other members to achieve lasting policy change. Rep. Bankson will continue to champion educational freedom for all Florida students. He’ll work to cut red tape so Florida businesses and individuals can thrive.

State Rep. Dean Black (HD-15)  

Having just one term under his belt, Rep. Black has been instrumental in Florida’s legislature. He has stood for educational opportunities for Florida’s learners, supported worker’s freedom, and is expected to be a policy champion for needed tax and spending reforms once re-elected.  

State Rep. Vicki Lopez (HD-113) 

Rep. Lopez is the best choice for District 113 as she continues to put the education and safety of Floridians first. In office, she has supported telehealth legislation to expand opportunities in the health care market. And, through Rep. Lopez’s personal story she has become a thoughtful voice on criminal justice reform supporting second chance legislation.

Americans for Prosperity Action Florida Endorses 10 Additional Candidates Ahead of General Election 

Statewide, FL—Today, Americans for Prosperity Action Florida (AFP Action FL) announced a new wave of endorsements for the general election, making strategic plays for strengthening Florida’s legislature next year.  

Leading up to the primaries this election cycle, AFP Action FL made 29 endorsements and saw 11 candidates facing primaries win their race. As AFP Action FL moves into the general election, key policy champions will receive the organization’s grassroots, digital, and advertising support.

Chad Johnson (HD-22) 

As a former county commissioner, Chad has the experience needed to lead House District 22 well. He has strong fiscal conservative values, demonstrating his commitment to providing tax relief and balancing the budget. He is also expected to be a voice for expanded education opportunities, supporting more career training and giving power to parents.   

Bill Partington (HD-28)  

With principled views on taxes, education, and health care, Bill Partington is the best choice for House District 28. Bill will bring his experience as mayor to the position, leaning on his background fighting tix increases and supporting parental rights in expanded education options.  

State Rep. Kevin Steele (HD-55) 

As a freshman, Rep. Steele has been instrumental in top issue areas from health care, independent contractor rights, to education and more. As a health care business owner, Rep. Steele understands the value of competition and choice in the market and will continue to be a voice for fiscal conservative policies and economic reforms.  

State Rep. Adam Anderson (HD-57) 

Notably, Rep. Anderson has sponsored bills to strengthen health care by allowing nonprofit agricultural organizations to provide coverage to members. He is a needed voice in office to expand telehealth and work towards better labor and regulatory laws. 

State Rep. Linda Chaney (HD-61)  

Rep. Chaney understands that onerous labor regulations prevent growth in Florida’s economy and has stood firmly in her convictions. She is the best choice for House District 61 and will continue to support foundational education growth in the state. 

State Rep. Will Robinson (HD-71) 

When re-elected, Rep. Robinson will continue to use his position to expand telehealth, broaden the scope of practice, and support Certificate of Need (CoN) repeal. He is also a policy champion for creating more choice in educational opportunities. 

State Rep. Tiffany Esposito (HD-77) 

Rep. Esposito is the leader House District 77 needs to drive economic reforms. She is passionate about occupational licensing improvements and her belief that regulations hold Floridians back and cause labor shortages will make her an impactful leader in office. 

State Rep. Adam Botana (HD-80)   

Rep. Botana is a proven leader on regulations and foundational education, sponsoring key legislation to limit advisory bodies while also standing up for parents with expanded education freedom. Meg Weinberger (HD-94)

Meg is the best choice for House District 94 as she is expected to support policies that put Florida’s workforce first while promoting transparency and accountability. In office, Meg will work to lower taxes and decrease regulation to improve our economy. She is also a strong leader on improving parents’ rights in their children’s education.
