AFP Action Congratulates Successful Candidates in Arizona State Legislative Races

Phoenix, Arizona—After the Arizona Secretary of State certified Arizona’s election results, Americans for Prosperity Action (AFP Action) congratulated its victorious candidates on successful runs for the state legislature. 

Arizona Senate President Warren Petersen, as well as incumbent State Senators J.D. Mesnard (LD-13), T.J. Shope (LD-16), Tim Dunn (LD-25), and Frank Carroll (LD-28) won reelection. Carine Werner also won her race and will represent Arizona’s 4th senate district. 

State Representatives Matt Gress (LD-04), Teresa Martinez (LD-16), Michele Peña (LD-23) also won reelection. Non-incumbents Jeff Weninger, Chris Lopez won their races and will go on to represent the 13th and 16th legislative districts, respectively.

“Arizona has made significant progress in recent years when it comes to making the Copper State more attractive to entrepreneurs and families. With these policy champions, Arizona is sure to continue on its upward trajectory.”

ANCHORAGE, AK – AFP Action congratulates Nick Begich on his election to the U.S. House of Representatives, representing Alaska. AFP-Action endorsed Begich in September and canvassed the state through election day.  

Nick Begich is the leader who will stand up for Alaskans in Congress, fight to bring down the cost of living, and champion Alaska’s energy industry. AFP Action grassroots staff and volunteers have been laser-focused on this race and have knocked on nearly 45,000 doors in support of Begich.

AFP Action Congratulates Endorsed Illinois State Legislative Candidates on Election Victories

SPRINGFIELD, IL – Americans for Prosperity Action (AFP Action) congratulates 9 endorsed candidates who won election and re-election to the Illinois State Legislature. 

Chris Balkema (SD-53), State Rep. Amy Grant (HD-47), State Rep. Martin McLaughlin (HD-52),  State Rep. Jackie Haas (HD-79), State Rep. Nicole La Ha (HD-82), Regan Deering (HD-88),  State Rep. Brandun Schweizer (HD-104), State Rep. Amy Elik (HD-111) and State Rep.
