ST. PAUL, MN – Americans for Prosperity Action-Minnesota (AFP Action-MN) celebrates the victory of 13 of its endorsed candidates for the state House of Representatives, ending single-party rule in Minnesota and building a firewall against the most extreme policies being promoted in the legislature.
State Representatives Roger Skraba (HD-03A), Natalie Zeleznikar (HD-03B), Jeff Dotseth (HD-11A), Bernie Perryman (HD-14A), Danny Nadeau (HD-34A), Elliot Engen (HD-36A), Andrew Myers (HD-45A), and Jeff Witte (HD-57B) all won reelection.
Additionally, AFP-MN successfully backed the following non-incumbents who will serve their first term in office next year: Cal Warwas (HD-07B), Erica Schwartz (HD-18A), Aaron Repinski (HD-26A), Wayne Johnson (HD-41A), and Tom Dippel (HD-41B).
AFP Action-MN Senior Advisor and AFP-MN State Director Jake Coleman gave the following statement:
“Minnesota’s long nightmare of DFL trifecta government is finally over. With these new policy champions in office, Minnesotans will now have a more representative state House that will work for the hardworking taxpayers of the North Star State.
“Now is when the real work begins – cleaning up the mess from Tim Walz’s progressive policy spree in last year’s session and holding the DFL accountable. Our sister organization, AFP, is already hard at work to restore fiscal sanity, slash regulations and fight for education freedom in the next legislative session.
“We’re deeply grateful for the tireless efforts of our grassroots activists and volunteers across the state, who helped elect these leaders into office by reaching out to over 350,000 voters in the months leading up to Election Day and getting them out to vote.
“After several narrow victories for our endorsed candidates and two more races yet to be called that will determine control of the state House, it’s clear that AFP Action’s peerless grassroots capabilities can make the difference in tight elections.”
