Manchester, NH – Americans for Prosperity Action (AFP Action) released the following statement ahead of Pete Buttigieg’s visit to the Granite State in an eleventh-hour attempt to prop up Chris Pappas’ struggling campaign.
AFP Action Senior Advisor Greg Moore said the following:
“Granite Staters should be thrilled that Secretary Buttigieg, and any other potential presidential candidates, are willing to defy the DNC and campaign in First In The Nation New Hampshire, even after his own party has tried to relegate our primary to an also-ran status and punish those who campaign here. If only Chris Pappas had the same courage to stand up to his party, which he votes with 94% of the time—including for higher taxes, more debt, and greater inflation.
“All of this underscores why New Hampshire needs John Sununu in the Senate. Instead of party loyalty, we need an independent voice who will fight for the Granite State, and Sununu has proven that he will put our state first, every time.”
