AFP Action Releases Statement Following Sen. Sullivan’s Debate Victory

WASILLA, AK — Alaskans saw a clear choice at last night’s Senate debate: Senator Dan Sullivan touting his record of putting Alaska first in the Senate, versus an inexperienced Democratic opponent reading scripted responses from cue cards.

Sullivan proved he is the champion that Alaskans need in the Senate to drive investment in the Last Frontier and cut the red tape favored by Mary Peltola that’s holding the Alaskan economy hostage. He is fighting to end the Democrats’ “Last Frontier Lockup” of Alaska’s natural resources.

From fisheries to health care and lowering the cost of living, Peltola’s only answer in the debate was more federal intervention in Alaskans’ everyday lives.

AFP Action Senior Advisor Kevin Greene gave the following statement:

“Dan Sullivan is the only choice for Alaskans who want to supercharge our economy and put the Democrats’ disastrous high-tax, low-energy agenda behind us.

“Peltola’s talking points can’t hide her past ineffectiveness in Congress and party-line voting record. When push comes to shove, Peltola will always put her radical party’s interests over the needs of hardworking Alaskans.”

Kevin Greene emphasized to The Wall Street Journal this week that Alaskans are waking up to the negativities of not having Sen. Sullivan fighting for them in the Senate.
