COLUMBUS, OH – As reported in The Daily Signal, Americans for Prosperity Action (AFP Action) released two new ads, “Jon Husted | Real Results for Ohio” and “Ohio Can’t Afford Sherrod Brown,” drawing a clear contrast between Jon Husted’s record of delivering results for Ohio families and Sherrod Brown’s support for policies that have contributed to rising costs.
The ads highlight Husted’s focus on advancing solutions that lower costs and expand opportunity, while underscoring concerns with Brown’s record on policies impacting inflation, energy prices, and the overall cost of living.
Thanks to AFP Action’s permanent, on-the-ground infrastructure in Ohio, the organization has been knocking voter doors for months to engage voters on how policies impacting taxes, energy, and government spending are affecting their daily lives.

Donovan O’Neil, AFP Action Senior Advisor for Ohio, released the following statement:
“Ohio families are feeling the strain of rising costs, and they’re looking for leaders who will deliver real solutions. Jon Husted has a proven record of advancing policies that grow the economy, lower costs, and expand opportunity for working families.
“In contrast, Sherrod Brown has supported policies that have contributed to higher costs and greater economic uncertainty. Ohio can’t afford more of the same. AFP Action is committed to supporting leaders who will put Ohio families first and help move the state in a more prosperous direction.”
The ad campaign comes on the heels of a new memo from AFP Action Senior Advisor Emily Seidel and Executive Director Nathan Nascimento urging Republicans to focus on cost-of-living issues or risk losing the Senate. In the letter, they write that “…every campaign event should answer one question, what are you doing to lower the cost of living for working families?”
