Concord, NH – Today, Americans for Prosperity Action (AFP Action) announced an $850,000 ad buy in support of John Sununu. The ad, “Party Line,” contrasts Sununu’s record of fiscal discipline and independent leadership with Chris Pappas’ record of falling in step with Democrats’ tax-and-spend agenda that has driven up costs for Granite State families.

AFP Action Senior Advisor Sarah Scott said the following:
“Granite Staters expect Washington to stay out of their paychecks, their energy choices, and their kids’ futures. Chris Pappas has spent seven years in Washington doing the opposite, rubber stamping liberal policies like the Inflation Reduction Act, causing families and businesses to keep less of what they earn. We just saw in Michigan the direction that the Democrat party has been moving in for years solidified with the nomination of a DSA-backed candidate, which directly threatens the New Hampshire Advantage. Chris Pappas needs to answer whether he stands with that agenda or against it, because seven years of rubber-stamp votes already suggest an answer.
“New Hampshire needs a Senator who will work for them, not one who works for his party. John Sununu is that independent voice who is focused on delivering policies that will solidify freedom and opportunity, improve Granite Staters’ way of life, and ensure Washington doesn’t get in the way.“
Chris Pappas has voted with Democrats 94 percent of the time, despite casting himself as a bipartisan problem solver, the same gap a new memo from AFP Action Executive Director Nathan Nascimento warns is showing up across the country.
