AFP Action Launches Statewide Grassroots Efforts Supporting U.S. Senate Candidate Mike Rogers

LANSING, MI — As reported in The Detroit News today, Americans for Prosperity Action (AFP Action) announced the launch of its first ad campaign supporting U.S. Senate Candidate Mike Rogers and the rollout of statewide grassroots efforts across Michigan. The six-figure ad will air on digital and streaming platforms across the state. The new ad launch coincides with full-scale, statewide grassroots efforts utilizing AFP Action’s layered approach to voter engagement, including door-to-door canvassing, phone outreach, direct mail, and targeted advertising.

AFP Action Senior Advisor Tim Golding released the following statement:

“AFP Action has permanent grassroots on the ground in Michigan, listening to voters and earning their trust. Because our team lives and works in these communities, we know what issues matter most to families, and we’re committed to supporting leaders like Mike Rogers who will fight for opportunity, freedom, and a stronger future for Michigan.

“Families are struggling with the cost of everything – all while Washington puts partisanship over solving problems. Mike Rogers understands we need a proven leader that can rise above politics and deliver real results to cut spending and lower taxes, so Michiganders keep more of their hard-earned money.

“Mike Rogers is a Michigander that cares deeply about our future and will fight tirelessly to bring down costs, secure our border, and keep our communities safe. AFP Action has the grassroots infrastructure to engage voters early and consistently in support of Rogers and we will carry this strategy through Election Day.”

AFP Action endorsed Rogers last fall and has since expanded its efforts to collect voter data, conduct research, and poll Michiganders in communities across the state. That groundwork is now being used to communicate directly with voters about Rogers’ record, reinforcing AFP Action’s targeted strategy to turn out the right voters and get Mike Rogers elected to the U.S. Senate.
