But if we hope to build and grow that progress, we need to continue supporting policy champions. Georgians can’t be content or rest on their laurels—if we are to succeed in reigniting the American Dream we need to ensure the candidates win their races. AFP Action will continue to deploy its best-in-class digital and grassroots outreach to support these candidates and maintain the momentum moving in to next session.”

Background:
Rep. Scott Hilton
In his time in the legislature, Rep. Hilton has been a big supporter of education choice. As a freshman lawmaker, he introduced HB 801, an Education Savings Account proposal, and in 2024 he advocated passionately for SB 233 in 2024 in the Education Committee and on the House floor, a bill that ultimately was signed into law. He has co-sponsored legislation making it easier for people to get to work, like HB 1142 and HB 1144, and voted for laws that reformed outdated regulations like certificate of need (HB1339) and occupational licensing for beauty services (SB 354).
Rep. Deborah Silcox
Rep. Silcox has been a consistent and reliable supporter of education choice while a member of the State House. In 2024, Rep. Silcox leaned into healthcare reform, encouraging her colleagues in a speech on the House floor that while HB1339 was a step in the right direction, more reform is needed to Georgia’s outdated certificate of need regulation. She also co-sponsored HB 926, the Second Chance Workforce Act, which will significantly improve the work prospects of many Georgians with a past criminal record.
Rep. Matt Reeves
Reeves has consistently voted for legislation supporting freedom and opportunity, like SB 233 the Georgia Promise Scholarship Act, HB 1339 certificate of need reform, and SB 354, reforms to occupational licensing. He also authored HB 926, the Second Chance Workforce Act, which will significantly improve the work prospects of many Georgians with a past criminal record. He was also the House sponsor of SB 414, the Personal Privacy Protection Act, which ensures state agencies may not publicize citizens’ private information unlawfully
Elvia Davila
A first-time candidate, Davila is a community leader dedicated to improving the lives of the people of House District 108. If elected, Davila will support legislation that removes government barriers to freedom and opportunity.
Sandy Donatucci
Donatucci is a mother and small businesswoman. She knows how difficult inflation is for families and businesses. She will go to Atlanta and work to lower taxes and government red tape to ensure Georgia continues to have a strong economy and prosperity for all.
