MACOMB, MI — As Abdul El-Sayed takes his town hall roadshow to Macomb County and Flint, Americans for Prosperity Action (AFP Action) is making sure voters in both communities know exactly what his proposed agenda would bring. El-Sayed’s Democratic Socialist platform would drive up costs, weaken public safety, and strip away individual freedoms, whereas Mike Rogers is prepared to stand up for Michiganders and protect their prosperity.
El-Sayed’s agenda calls for government-run health care, defunding police departments, open border policies, and sweeping tax increases that would hit Michigan working families hard. With Election Day weeks away, voters deserve the full picture: higher costs, fewer choices, less safety, and less freedom.
Tim Golding, AFP Action Advisor for Michigan, issued the following statement:
“El-Sayed wants the government running your healthcare, defunding the police in your communities, and opening our borders while taxing away what you have earned. Every version of that agenda has made life harder for working people, and Michigan can’t afford to run that experiment again.
“Mike Rogers is running on the premise that Michigan families know best how to live their own lives. Rogers will fight to bring down energy costs by unleashing American energy production, removing the regulatory barriers that have made housing unaffordable, restore public safety by supporting law enforcement, secure our borders, and restore a healthcare system built on competition and patient choice rather than government mandates.
“El-Sayed offers a bigger government that takes more and delivers less. Rogers offers accountability, affordability, safety, and results.”
