HUDSON, WI—Americans for Prosperity Action (AFP Action) tonight released a statement congratulating State Senator and Representative-Elect Tom Tiffany on his election to represent Wisconsin’s 7th Congressional District in Washington. The grassroots organization supported Tiffany throughout his primary and the general election, leveraging a variety of tactics. AFP Action activists contacted more than a half million voters throughout the effort, on the phones, through text messaging, and by other means.
AFP Action Senior Advisor Eric Bott issued the following statement:
“We’re excited to see Wisconsin gain a principled voice in Washington with the election of Tom Tiffany to Congress. Representative-Elect Tom Tiffany earned the full support of our grassroots by ensuring Wisconsinites keep more of what they earn, reforming our state’s labor laws to help everyone find meaningful work, and protecting our civil liberties, during his time in Madison. Hats off to our activists for their continued dedication and innovation in helping spread the message of Tom’s principled record during the special election.”
