BATON ROUGE, La. – Americans for Prosperity Action tonight congratulates Louisiana’s newly elected lawmakers Robert Mills, Beau Beaullieu, and Richard Nelson. AFP Action applauds its grassroots activists for their tireless efforts that helped spread the positive messages of these candidates. Mills, Beaullieu, and Nelson earned the support of AFP Action for their principled support of various policies, such as educational opportunities for all of Louisiana’s students, advocacy for more money in the pockets of hardworking Louisianans, and a fiscally responsible approach to solving some of Louisiana’s toughest issues.

It is clear that a principled approach to policy is what Louisianans want to see in Baton Rouge.”
AFP Action engaged in four state legislative races in the run-off:
- Robert Mills for State Senate District 36
- Richard Nelson for State House District 89
- Beau Beaullieu for State House District 48
- Brandon Trosclair for State House District 88
This year, Americans for Prosperity Action contacted well over 210,000 Louisiana voters through a combination of door-to-door, phone banking, and text messaging efforts.
