Manchester, NH – Last night, Granite Staters got their last side-by-side look at New Hampshire’s two U.S. Senate candidates. The choice is clear: Chris Pappas will follow his party wherever it goes, and John Sununu will be a strong independent voice for New Hampshire.
Americans for Prosperity Action (AFP Action) has been knocking doors across the Granite State all cycle for John Sununu, and this week volunteers and staff will keep talking with voters about what is at stake on the November 3 ballot.
AFP Action Senior Advisor Greg Moore said:
“Chris Pappas can claim he will prioritize Granite Staters on the debate stage, but he can’t debate away his record. Pappas told homeowners he doesn’t care about their property tax bills by refusing to back Question 2, the school district tax cap. After eight years in Congress, Pappas has not gotten the job done. He spent the night stonewalling and posing as a bipartisan dealmaker, yet he votes with his party 94% of the time. When far-left Democrats pushing a socialist agenda in Washington are the ones campaigning for him, Granite Staters can do the math on who he will answer to in Washington.
“John Sununu came ready, showcasing that he is a leader who will fight to ensure New Hampshire remains the freest in the nation. He has the experience to deliver results and the independence to stand up to Washington when it’s wrong for the Granite State. AFP Action will be out talking to voters every day leading up to November 3, making the case about the clear differences in this race: John Sununu will protect the New Hampshire Advantage in Washington. Chris Pappas will put it at risk.”
