PHOENIX, AZ — Americans for Prosperity Action (AFP Action) today endorsed thirteen candidates for the Arizona Legislature and announced plans to launch a statewide grassroots campaign in support of the slate through November 3. The endorsements span five state Senate races and eight state House races, including a handful of seats that will decide which party holds each chamber next session.
Arizona households are absorbing higher costs for housing, utilities, and groceries. The endorsed candidates have committed to the reforms that reach those costs directly: clearing the permitting and zoning barriers that keep new homes off the market, restraining state spending, keeping the flat income tax intact, and cutting occupational licensing rules that price Arizonans out of work. Each also has a record of defending the education options Arizona families rely on.

“Arizona families are paying more for groceries, housing, and electricity than they were two years ago, and the Legislature is where that problem gets addressed or ignored. The thirteen candidates we are endorsing today have shown us they will hold the line on spending, keep Arizona’s tax code among the most competitive in the country, and protect the school choice programs that tens of thousands of families now depend on.
“Control of both chambers runs through a small number of districts, and our activists are going to be in those neighborhoods every week until November. Voters in these races deserve to hear directly from the people who live next door to them about what is at stake.”
