LANSING, MI – As seen in the Detroit News, Americans for Prosperity Action (AFP Action) released two new ads, ‘Job’ and ‘Real Results,’ which highlight Mike Rogers’ commitment to lowering costs for Michigan families by reducing burdensome regulations, cutting wasteful government spending, and advancing policies that strengthen the state’s economy.
The ads underscore Rogers’ focus on tackling the issues that matter most to voters, including the rising costs of housing, groceries, energy, and childcare, and present a clear contrast on the need for real solutions that deliver relief for working families.
Thanks to AFP Action’s permanent, on-the-ground infrastructure in Michigan, the organization has been knocking doors for months to engage voters on the policies that will bring down costs and expand opportunity across the state.

AFP Action senior advisor for Michigan Tim Golding released the following statement:
“Michiganders are feeling the pressure of rising costs, and they’re looking for leaders who will take meaningful action to deliver relief. Mike Rogersunderstands that lowering the cost of living starts with reducing burdensome regulations, cutting wasteful government spending, and putting forward policies that allow businesses to grow and families to get ahead.
“These ads make clear that Mike Rogers is focused on real results, lowering costs, expanding opportunity, and ensuring Michigan families can keep more of what they earn. AFP Action is proud to support efforts that put Michiganders first and move the state in a more prosperous direction.”
The ads come on the heels of a new memo from AFP Action senior advisor Emily Seidel and Executive Director Nathan Nascimento urging Republicans to focus on cost-of-living issues or risk losing the Senate. In the letter, they write that “…every campaign event should answer one question—what are you doing to lower the cost of living for working families?”
