AFP Action Launches Statewide Ground Game Behind Sununu

Manchester, NH – On Saturday, Americans for Prosperity Action (AFP Action) activists and volunteers came together in Manchester for a grassroots kickoff event with U.S. Senate candidate John Sununu, building on ongoing grassroots efforts and ramping up voter outreach across the Granite State ahead of a critical election season.

Sununu and AFP Action Senior Advisor Sarah Scott addressed volunteers and supporters before heading out to knock doors and connect with voters.

AFP Action Senior Advisor Sarah Scott issued the following statement:

Elections are won on the ground, and Saturday’s kickoff showed the energy and commitment already behind John Sununu. With margins expected to be razor-thin, the conversations happening at the doors right now will make all the difference come November.

“The message we heard from voters was clear—families are being squeezed and want real relief they can feel in their day-to-day lives, not more empty promises. John Sununu is the proven leader we need. He is someone who will fight for lower taxes, more opportunity, and a stronger economy. The energy we saw on the ground today is exactly what it’s going to take to turn out voters and secure victory in November.”

John Sununu said

I am very grateful to have the endorsement of Americans for Prosperity Action and thankful to everyone who joined me knocking doors on Saturday. Had good conversations with voters and especially appreciated those who signed on to support my candidacy. The energy and enthusiasm of AFP Action volunteers and supporters is critical to our winning in November. As Senator, I’ll have just one job—stand up for the people of New Hampshire every single day.

Background on AFP Action Endorsed Candidate John Sununu:

John Sununu brings a legacy of principled leadership to drive real results for New Hampshire. As a former Congressman and Senator representing New Hampshire, Sununu spent 12 years in Washington fighting to rein in government overreach, cut taxes, and reduce wasteful spending. His work in regulatory reform helped streamline federal bureaucracy and protect small businesses from burdensome rules. Sununu’s commitment to limited government and fiscal discipline reflects the values Granite Staters care about most — accountability, efficiency, and economic freedom. He’s ready to return to Washington and ensure New Hampshire families keep more of what they earn, while restoring common sense to federal policymaking.
