Americans for Prosperity Action Endorses Rep. Tom Barrett for MI-07

LANSING, MI – Today, Americans for Prosperity Action (AFP Action) endorsed Rep. Tom Barrett in his reelection bid. Barrett has represented Michigan’s 7th Congressional District since 2025.

AFP Action senior advisor for Michigan Tim Golding released the following statement:

“Americans for Prosperity Action is proud to endorse Rep. Tom Barrett for reelection. In just one term in Congress, Barrett has already proven himself a strong ally on economic issues, supporting tax cuts including the Working Families Tax Cuts and all budget reconciliation and rescissions bills this session. Rep. Barrett has also been a key partner on regulatory reform as a co-sponsor of the REINS Act that aims to curb government overreach. We look forward to deploying our capabilities on his behalf this cycle.”
