AFP Action Knocks One Million Doors for Dave McCormick

Nation’s Premier Grassroots Group Crosses Major Outreach Threshold One Week Before Election Day

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania—Today Americans for Prosperity Action (AFP Action) knocked its one millionth door to support Dave McCormick’s run for U.S. Senate, exceeding its goal to knock one million doors in the Commonwealth by Election Day. The group will continue its best-in-class voter outreach through next Tuesday.

AFP Action endorsed Dave McCormick as a policy champion last summer, even before he announced his candidacy. Since April 1, 2024, AFP Action has been on the ground talking to voters at their doorsteps about the significance of the Pennsylvania Senate race.

Upon reaching the million-door mark, AFP Action Senior Advisor in Pennsylvania Emily Greene issued the following statement:

“I’m so incredibly proud of our grassroots army of activists and volunteers who have truly been ‘pounding the pave for Dave!’ All eyes are on Pennsylvania this cycle and we’re keenly aware of how close it will be. We’re hoping that with a million doors and counting, that we will be the difference-makers and bring Dave McCormick across the finish line.

“Control of the Senate could run through the Keystone State and after nearly 20 years in the Senate, Pennsylvanians are tired of Bob Casey’s rubber-stamp representation. That’s why they’re ready to vote for Dave McCormick who’s going to tackle their most pressing issues like securing the border, keeping taxes low, and putting an end to wasteful Washington spending.”

Director of AFP Action, Nathan Nascimento issued the following statement:

“It’s easy for folks to talk a big ground game, but AFP Action is putting on a masterclass in how to reach voters and make the difference in key elections. Not only have we knocked over a million doors in Pennsylvania, but we’ve knocked over 650,000 doors in Montana, another 650,000 in Wisconsin, and over 900,000 in Ohio.

“Our operation has been refined over years of engagements and with constantly updated data to ensure we are reaching the right voters. I’m so proud of this team and its continuing effort to change the political landscape in Washington between now and Election Day.”

ICYMI: Don’t Miss AFP Action’s Ground Game

In case you missed it, Americans for Prosperity Action’s (AFP Action) nationwide grassroots engagement was featured yesterday in National Review Online.

With less than a week remaining before election day, AFP Action continues to ramp up canvassing efforts around the country– reaching a historic number of voters this election cycle, particularly in key battleground states like Pennsylvania.

“…AFP Action, it is closing in on a million doors knocked for McCormick in Pennsylvania, as part of a broader outreach of 2.3 million voter contacts (counting phone calls), as well as 636,000 doors knocked for Hovde in Wisconsin (and 1.4 million contacts), 665,000 doors knocked for Brown in Nevada (and 1.2 million contacts), and 212,000 doors knocked for Rogers in Michigan (and over 500,000 contacts).

“Overall, across door-knocks and phone contacts, the AFP-world campaign has reached…over 1.9 million contacts for Moreno in Ohio and 1.7 million for Sheehy in Montana.

“AFP Action’s House targets also include swing districts in key presidential states such as Arizona, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, as well as Colorado, Iowa, New Mexico, Ohio, Virginia, New Hampshire, Connecticut, New York, and California. The scale of its engagement in Michigan goes into the state legislature as well. And with a week left in the campaign, it plans to keep going.”
