AFP Action Congratulates Victorious Candidates After Michigan Primary

Lansing, Michigan—Americans for Prosperity Action this evening congratulated State Sen. Tom Barrett and John James on their successful primary campaigns.

Each candidate earned AFP Action’s endorsement as policy champions that voters can rely on to represent their best interests in Washington.

After the races were called, AFP Action Senior Advisor Annie Patnaude made the following statement:

“These are Michigan’s first line of defense against the Biden Administration’s reckless agenda. These policy champions are going to challenge the status quo in Washington by voting against reckless spending, advocating for energy abundance, and fighting against government overreach.

“AFP Action’s grassroots network knocked over 31,000 doors and made over 145,000 phone calls to help bring these candidates across the finish line. We’re going to keep going until November 8 to ensure that Michigan has as many champions as possible representing the Great Lake State.”
